Baynine is based in Oakland, California. Board and train and boarding take place at our private facility, with the exact location provided upon booking. We work with owners throughout Oakland, the East Bay, and San Francisco.
What if I’m not sure which service I need?
That’s a good place to start. Tell us about your dog and your goals in the guided intake. You’ll get a suggested starting point and a summary you can email or text to Barak.
How many private sessions will we need?
It depends on your dog and your goals. Start with a single session, then work with the team on a plan based on your progress.
Am I involved in board and train?
Yes. Owner check-in lessons are an essential, required part of the program. A detailed go-home session teaches you how to continue the work, with ongoing phone and email support afterward. Additional private sessions are available.
What training tools do you use?
Tools and methods are tailored to your dog. Baynine uses a balanced approach, including positive reinforcement and fair corrections. E-collars are introduced carefully as an advanced communication tool in the 35-day program, with owner coaching on proper use. Discuss any questions with Barak before booking.
Can any dog stay for boarding?
Boarding dogs must be house-trained, up-to-date on vaccinations, and have a suitable temperament. Talk with the team about your dog before arranging a stay.
